On March 25th the faculty of Civil Engineering at Damascus University, celebrated the graduation of its students and the honoring of those with exceptional achievements. Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Dr. Amjad Zeno indicated the importance of this day to the students whose efforts over the past five years have ended in success, and to their families who provided moral and material support for their children. He pointed out that honoring the graduates and top students of 2008-2009 academic year is an annual event, which marks the graduation of nearly 200 students. Additionally, each year the Faculty of Engineering honors the top three students in the graduating class from the departments of civil engineering, irrigation and drainage. This year a total of 30 students were honored.
