Dr. Wael, President of the University of Damascus, met with a Iranian scientific delegation headed by Dr. Saeed Sohrab of Shariff University of Technology in Iran, and discussed the best way to build a relationship of mutual cooperation between the two universities.
The two sides discussed issues related to establishing scientific cooperation between the two universities, especially in the branches engineering and technologic sciences. They agreed on a joint masters degree focused on the scientific interests shared by the two universities.
The parties also agreed to conclude a joint cooperation agreement after examination by the universities' administrations.
