Career Management Center organizes courses for developing the planning and scheduling skills

Career Management Center at Damascus University has implemented a range of training courses on developing the planning and scheduling skills for small projects. Four courses have been organized with three weeks duration, aimed at explaining the basic principles of project management and the key steps to develop a timetable for the project with a focus on explaining the main outputs of the plan and how to use them by the project manager and decision makers.

Dr Abdul Salam Zeidan, the Director of the Center who carried out these courses, pointed out that the purposes of these courses are to clarify certain operational concepts in the process of planning and scheduling of projects and provide the student with some basic skills required in the labor market for many companies.

Ahmad Al-Ahmed, a student in the Faculty of Economics, expressed the possibility of benefit from this course in achieving his own project, noting that many students from the Faculty of Economics are seeking to launch their own projects and it is essential to provide them with the principles of planning and scheduling.

Mazen Daw, a student in the Faculty of Civil Engineering, has stressed his keenness to follow this course that has supplied him with some basic requirements for real estate companies. He has stressed his keenness to follow up on the various courses of the Centre after the end of the university examinations.

Rami Mohammed Kassem, a student in the Faculty of Law has pointed to the interest acquired by following up the courses, wishing to expand practical examples of these courses to include service and educational sectors.
