Book Fair in the College of Fine Arts
To celebrate the occasion of the Golden Anniversary of the Teachers Association the Teachers Association Branch of the University of Damascus Library is putting on a book fair until the 31st of March in the College of Fine Arts with the cooperation of a several publishing houses. The fair will include thousands of titles and a variety of magazines and journals of literature, economics, thought , and academic studies, in addition to collections of poetry and stories, scientific encyclopedias, and children's literature. Dr. Wael Mulla, President of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Manadili, the President of the Teachers Association Branch Library opened the fair in a ceremony attended by deans, professors, and students, who perused the displayed books while listening to explanations by the fair workers of the contents and academic benefit of the books. The goal of the fair is to encourage students to browse among the books and build libraries of books of scientific and cultural importance.
