The participants recommended the necessity of formulating and legislating a mental health law in Syria that is consistent with international standards. This law must include precise definitions of mental disorders, patients’ rights, compulsory treatment procedures, and oversight and follow-up mechanisms.

The Higher Institute for Administrative Development at Damascus University organized a workshop on the mechanism for setting technical performance indicators for the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, with the participation of 36 trainees from all the Ministry’s institutions and directorates in the governorates.
As part of its plan aimed at meeting the needs of university students, the Center for Student Empowerment and Leadership has conducted a survey to determine theses needs and design suitable programs to meet them.
