Focus on the Activities of the “Anesthesiologist between Pain Management and Intensive Care” Conference

 

A number of doctors participating in the “Anesthesiologist between Pain Management and Intensive Care” Conference presented a number of lectures focusing on the new techniques in local anesthesia and analgesia using ultrasound, intensive care, emergency medicine, gynecology and pediatrics, and the latest developments in cardiovascular monitoring, resuscitation of burn patients and monitoring Head bruising.

Head of the Department of Anesthesia and Resuscitation at the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University, Prof. Najwa Rekmani, stressed the importance of intensive care, local anesthesia, and pain management for postgraduate doctors, specialists, and residents participating in the conference. She also explained that her lecture focused on intensive care and the latest developments in hemodynamic monitoring and monitoring the patient in simple, attainable ways that are universally acclaimed.  

Prof. Samar Kabbani from the Department of Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine at the Damascus University, focuses in her lecture on treating headaches that occur after spinal anesthesia, especially in cesarean sections, and the options and procedures used to prevent its occurrence, which saves the mother and fetus from many complications and problems, with focus on both old and modern medications.

It is noteworthy that the conference was held under the auspices of the Syrian Doctors Syndicate and was organized by the Syrian Anesthesiologists Association and the Association of Anesthesia and Pain Analgesia Specialists. The conference lasted for two days in the theater hall at Damascus University.
