The Faculty of Civil Engineering discussed with Sofia University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Surveying in Bulgaria ways to activate academic cooperation between the two universities, focusing on joint programs where students can study under the joint supervision of master's and doctoral programmes, which is a pioneering step in the history of the faculty.
The discussion focused on enhancing the exchange of knowledge and experiences between students and professors, which contributes to the development of academic programs and increases opportunities for practical and applied learning.
Dr. Khawla Mansour, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering confirmed during the online meeting with the Bulgarian University that the faculty seeks to develop master's and doctoral programs through the agreement signed between the two parties, and will start with the departments of management, construction and structural engineering.
On the Bulgarian side, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Architecture and Construction in Bulgaria, Dr. Emad Abdulahad, confirmed that the university had submitted proposals on topics that could be studied and supervised jointly by the two sides, with a focus on management topics in civil engineering.
