Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University concluded the Syrian Fellowship Program for Laser Applications in Dentistry by conducting an exam for the participants, with the aim of evaluating the skills and knowledge they acquired during the training course.
Dean of the faculty, Dr. Khaldoun Darwich, confirmed that the program lasted for six months, two days per month, during which participants received advanced training from international and local experts, which contributed to raising the level of knowledge and practical application of laser techniques in dentistry.
Dr. Omar Hamada, Head of the Department of Oral Medicine at the Faculty and Scientific Coordinator of the Program, confirmed that the exam aims to measure the participants’ understanding of laser technologies and their uses in dentistry, and to evaluate their ability to apply these technologies in clinical practices.
Dr. Hamada stated that the success of the participants in this exam is considered a prerequisite for obtaining the Syrian fellowship certificate in laser applications.
