Launching Third Module of the Syrian Fellowship Program in Prosthetic Dentistry

The third module of the Syrian Fellowship Program in Digital Prosthodontics began in the Digital Dental Laboratory at the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University, as part of a series of intensive training aimed at developing the skills of dentists in the field of digital prosthodontics, using the latest available technologies.

 

 

Head of Fixed Prosthetics Department at the faculty, Dr. Louay Murad, confirmed that the third module focuses on enhancing the efficiency of participants in using digital software and advanced devices to improve the accuracy and speed of prosthetic procedures, which contributes to improving the quality of care provided to patients.

 

Coordinator of the Scientific Program for the Fellowship Program, Dr. Shaza Qanout, explained that the third module of the program deals with temporary prosthetics and part of the method of choosing the color, in addition to root crown restorations. She indicated that the third day will include laboratory preparations based on real examples which will enable the participants to apply what they have learned in practice, after completing this module.
