Student Empowerment and Leadership Center at Damascus University organized an introductory meeting at the Faculty of Tourism in cooperation with the branch of National Union of Syrian Students at the university, with the aim of informing faculty students about the role of the center in enhancing the skills of students and recent graduates in all training fields.

Departments of Obstetrics and Internal diseases at Faculty of Medicine, in cooperation with Obstetrics and Gynaecology University Hospital, organized a scientific day about “Pregnancy and Internal diseases”. Lectures included topics, such as postpartum depression, blood transfusion, epilepsy during pregnancy, cholestasis of pregnancy, gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders and pregnancy.
On the occasion of Tishreen Holidays, Fourth Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Quneitra Branch of Damascus University organized a scientific conference titled "Arabic Language and Its Impact on Enhancing National Identity," in collaboration with the National Union of Syrian Students, Quneitra Branch, Arab Writers Union, and Sham Land Foundation. The conference was attended by official and cultural figures in the governorate.
Faculty of Science at Damascus University opened a diverse handicraft exhibition featuring “Syrian Bees”, in the presence of Dean of the Faculty and his deputies.
Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus inaugurated an art exhibition for graduates of Faculty of Fine Arts - Department of Painting, Class of 2024, entitled "Tribute to the Memory of Dr. Buthayna Ali”. The event took place at Al-Riwaq Al-Arabi Gallery in Damascus, in collaboration with Plastic Artists Union.
Faculty of Education at Damascus University organized a training workshop on Montessori education. 15 trainees participate in the workshop, including graduates, teachers, headteachers, and those interested in early education (kindergarten), in addition to mothers interested in the Montessori curriculum.
This year, the world celebrates World Children's Day under the theme: "Listen to the Future”. The celebration of this day comes in honor of children and to emphasize the need to secure all their rights. This day also provides an opportunity for interested individuals and institutions to defend, promote and celebrate children's rights, and translate them into discussions and actions to build a better world for children.
4900 students took the unified dentistry exam for the second session 2024. The exam is conducted by the National Authority for Quality and Accreditation for graduates of Syrian public and private universities and non-Syria universities.
The academic work program between Damascus University - Higher Institute for Regional Planning and the University of Campania – Luigi Vanvitelli in Italy entered its third week and included four scientific lectures by Dean of the Institute, Dr. Ghada Bilal, targetting Master’s students in the Departments of Architecture and Industrial Design for International Students at the Italian University, in the presence of Head of the Department, Professor Chiara Ingrosso, and Professor Nicola Pisacane.
