Two lectures by Dean of the Higher Institute for Regional Planning during the Scientific Week at the Italian University of Campania

 Within the framework of the scientific agreement signed between the Higher Institute for Regional Planning at Damascus University and the University of Campania Luigi Faventelli, Dr. Ghada Bilal, participated in the scientific program entitled Planning Strategies for Sustainable Urban Regeneration at the Italian University with two lectures.

The first lecture focused on the importance and role of natural resources in planning studies and the relationship between natural resources and the sustainability of planning studies with examples of planning studies of natural resources in planning projects in Syria.

The second lecture talked about the role of landscapes in urban regeneration studies and addressed landscapes in planning studies - the relationship between landscapes and sustainability of urban regeneration studies, with examples of planning studies in Syria that link urban regeneration with natural landscapes.

In addition to her current participation, Dr. Bilal will continue participating in new scientific weeks within several master’s programs at the University of Campania Luigi Faventelli in Italy, with the aim of providing opportunities for deep knowledge exchange that contributes to enriching research related to sustainable urban planning.
