Scientific Cooperation Agreement between Damascus University and the National Research University - Higher School of Economics in Russia

  Damascus University and the National Research University - Higher School of Economics in Russia signed a scientific cooperation agreement, aiming to establish and enhance joint academic and scientific cooperation and student exchange and other types of exchange within the capabilities available to both sides on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.

Under the agreement, the two parties will work to encourage and develop cooperation in areas of academic exchange, including the exchange of students, faculty members and researchers, the exchange of knowledge and expertise in areas of common interest, as well as the development of exchange programmes for administrative and organizational personnel.

The two parties also agreed to develop and implement joint educational and research programmes, in addition to organising and implementing joint educational, scientific and cultural events such as conferences, seminars and others.

The agreement stipulates the implementation of any project, activity or cooperation programme within the available capabilities and with the approval of both parties.
