Students Scientific Meetings at the Technical Institute of Dentistry Finalized

Students Scientific Meetings at the Technical Institute of Dentistry, in cooperation with Nursing Syndicate, have been concluded today.

Dr Hoda Huwaishan, the Director of the Technical Institute, pointed out students’ great commitment to attending the scientific meetings; she also noticed their great interest in the quality of the lectures delivered. The director also indicated that the institute, in cooperation with the Nursing, Medical and Health Professions Syndicate, was able to attract the most important Syrian and international medical laboratory experts in order to transfer their expertise to the students so that future graduates can stand out through what they will do during their professional career post-graduation.

The lecture delivered by Riyad Khawam was about orthodontics; the aim was to provide the new experiences required for students to launch their businesses and perform job tasks the best way and to have a practical idea about work in laboratories, the use of modern technologies in the field of dental technology as well as effective communication and sharing information about patients with dentists.

It is worth mentioning the event was held every Wednesday for four weeks, with former graduates providing their practical and scientific expertise for the current students at the institute.
