For the first time, a standardized test for students wishing to enroll in the Faculty of Media

Vice President of Damascus University for Administrative and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammad Turko, University Provost, Professor Dr. Taleb Al-Ali, and Director of Professional Practice Office, Dr. Mohammed Youssef, inspected the standardized test at the Faculty of Media at Damascus University. They reviewed the progress of the test in the faculty's halls and auditoriums.

Dr. Turko confirmed that the university had made early preparations for the test, which is being conducted for the first time after being approved by the Higher Education Council for the academic year 2024/2025.

Dean of the Faculty of Media, Dr. Baraa Shuqair, explained that about 500 students from the recent general secondary certificate holders, both scientific and literary branches, took the standardized test for admission to the Faculty of Media. She noted that the test consists of 50 questions to be answered in 60 minutes, and that the examination process was smooth and conducted in a calm and orderly atmosphere.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has adopted new standardized tests this year for the Faculties of Media and Political Science, and passing them is a prerequisite for competing in the university admission process.
