Student Empowerment and Leadership Center Organizes an Introductory Meeting at the Faculty of Tourism

 Student Empowerment and Leadership Center at Damascus University organized an introductory meeting at the Faculty of Tourism in cooperation with the branch of National Union of Syrian Students at the university, with the aim of informing faculty students about the role of the center in enhancing the skills of students and recent graduates in all training fields.

Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Issam Haidar, stressed the importance of the meeting in guiding students towards practical life and how to make the right choice for their academic and professional paths.

Director of the Center, Dr. Ahmad Khader, reviewed the center’s objectives, programs, and work plan, pointing out that the center’s goal is to develop students’ skills and connect them to the labor market by providing them with professional and academic guidance services.

Dr. Khader called on students to benefit from the center’s services in the field of training and to participate in the opinion poll that was launched to identify the training needs of students in order to design training programs that meet these needs, and also to contribute to voluntary initiatives aimed at transferring experiences from students to their colleagues, expressing the center’s readiness to support students’ distinguished creative ideas financially and logistically to transform them into real projects.
