The study showed that the presence of higher educational levels on boards of directors enhances the efficiency and stability of the bank, and the presence of women on boards of directors enhances this relationship.

 On the occasion of International J.e.r.u.s.a.l.e.m  Day, the Faculty of Law at Damascus University, in cooperation with the Arab University of the Nation and the National Union of Syrian Students, organized a seminar entitled "Empowering Graduate Students in International Work." The seminar took place in the virtual courtroom of the Faculty.

Class II malocclusion is defined as a disorder in the jaw relationship in the sagittal plane, which may be caused by a dimensional or positional disorder of one or both jaws, and it also results from a disorder in the upper or lower dental arch or both. As for the pathological mechanism, many studies applied to families and twins have shown that heredity plays an important role in a large percentage of Class II malocclusion cases, especially those of skeletal origin. Genetics also plays a role in inhibiting the growth of the lower jaw through intense muscle activity of the orbicularis oris muscle, which leads to palatal inclination of the upper incisors, which in turn leads to lingual inclination of the lower incisors.

 The interactive seminar organized by Damascus University in cooperation with relevant faculties and ministries discussed investment in housing, possibilities and objectives, in the presence of the Ministers of Higher Education, Public Works and Housing, President and deputies of Damascus University and representatives of ministries and governmental and private bodies, at the University's auditorium.

  Today, the University of Damascus, in cooperation with the Iranian Scientific Chancellery, organized a celebration of International Jerusalem Day entitled “The Importance of Jerusalem as a Symbol of the P.a.l.e.s.t.i.n.i.a.n Cause” at the auditorium theatre of the University of Damascus. It also honored a number of P.a.l.e.s.t.i.n.i.a.n university professors who have a special imprint on the educational process.

 To mark the Syrian Arab Student Day, the National Union of Syrian Students organised a series of events, including an exhibition of artwork, ranging from oil photography, graphics, sculpture, and interior architecture, by students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University, which was unveiled in the Reda Saeed Conference Hall. Attendees included Dr. Muhammad Turko, the vice president of Damascus University for Administrative and Student Affairs, Omar Al-Jubai, a member of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students, Qasim Al-Ali, the president of the Union's Damascus University Branch, and the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and others.

 The Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at Damascus University, in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students and ACSAD, opened "Bio fermenter", as part of the cooperation agreement signed between the University of Damascus and ACSAD.

 Damascus University, in collaboration with relevant faculties and ministries, organized a symposium on "Investing in the Water Sector: Opportunities and Goals." The aim of the symposium was to exchange ideas and opinions that can contribute to finding solutions and developing satisfactory proposals and recommendations for optimal investment in the water sector.

 The interactive symposium held at Damascus University Auditorium focused on investing in the electricity sector (capabilities and goals) in cooperation with colleges and competent ministries. It aims at benefiting from the opinions and ideas presented in reaching effective results and solutions to deal with the challenges facing investment in this sector.
