Faculty of Agriculture Participates in AGRO Syria 2024

 Faculty of Agriculture participated in the Second Syrian International Exhibition for Agricultural Mechanization and Supplies, AGRO Syria 2024, through eight agricultural projects.

Dean of the Faculty, Professor Afraa Salloum, stated that their participation was through distinct, qualitative and innovative projects, which have the ability to bring about a major change at the level of agricultural production and agricultural mechanization. She also points out the great demand for the faculty’s pavilion, as the projects presented won the admiration of various visitors from governmental and private bodies and organizations.

Chair of the working team, Dr. Samer Al-Omar, pointed out the importance of student projects participating in this type of specialized exhibition focusing on the ideas they carry that serve the community.

For his part, Dr. Hammam Barhoum from the Biological Control Center said: “We worked with the students to collect the most important insects and display them in the exhibition to reflect the diversity of the Syrian environment, in addition to displaying introductory panels about seeds and plants found locally.
