Work Skills in the Food and Beverage Sector: Training Workshop at the Faculty of Tourism


The Faculty of Tourism at Damascus University organized a training workshop entitled "Work Skills in the Food and Beverage Sector" targeting a number of undergraduate and graduate students in the faculty, with the aim of developing their knowledge and providing them with practical skills in this sector to work in hotels and restaurants.

Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Issam Haidar, indicated that the main purpose of the training workshop is to develop students' practical skills and introduce them to the principles of effective management in the food and beverage sector, thus qualifying them to work in the field of hotels and restaurants, managing food and beverage operations efficiently and ensuring the quality of service.

It is noteworthy that the workshop lasts for three days in the Graduate Studies Hall at the Faculty of Tourism.
