President of Damascus University meets students participating in Hope Initiative that supports distinguished Arab youth in the field of media

President of Damascus University, Professor Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, met with the outstanding students of the Faculty of Media participating in the Hope Initiative that supports distinguished Arab youth in the field of media in its third edition.

 

 

Prof. Al-Jabban expressed his pride in the students’ participation in the initiative due to its importance in their professional career, and urged them to benefit from it in their academic studies and practical life. He also noted that as it is a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and open new horizons for them.

 

In turn, Dean of the Faulty of media, Dr. Baraa Shuqair pointed out that the initiative is considered a unique opportunity to learn about the experiences of other countries, through students’ field visits to media institutions and attending workshops in various media fields.

 

Amal Molhem, founder of the initiative, announced the launch of the events for the media training program on April 21st, which is held in the United Arab Emirates and aims to qualify young people and provide them with the necessary skills for excellence in the media field.

 

The program includes intensive workshops and field visits to major media institutions, presented by an elite group of distinguished media professionals, and covers vital topics such as digital journalism, media ethics, and television broadcasting techniques.

 

It is noteworthy that the Hope Initiative, organized annually, attracts distinguished students from universities in Arab countries, and relies on media institutions in the United Arab Emirates to implement its training programs.
