Highlighting the Activities of the Production Camp at the Faculty of Agriculture

 The first week of the production camp at the Faculty of Agriculture at Damascus University included theoretical lectures, field works within the Faculty, as well as various social, recreational and cultural activities. The first week ended with a ceremony honoring all the participants.

 

For more details, the University Website met with the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Afraa Salloum, who pointed out that the camp provided “important practical training for the students” as it included workshops in several areas of quality and business management, CV writing and nutrition analysis. The practical training included the rehabilitation of three gardens in the faculty, the establishment of a complete garden with 13 apple trees and several types of flowers, in addition to other agricultural operations such as pruning and grafting trees and practical training on methods of raising bees and poultry.

 

It is noteworthy that the production camp at the Faculty of Agriculture is held under the auspices of the National Union of Syrian Students for 14 days.
