Department of Mechanical Engineering of Textile Industries and Their Technologies on Graduation Projects Exhibition

Department of Mechanical Engineering of Textile Industries and Their Technologies participated in the Graduation projects Exhibition at the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with a group of innovative projects that reflect the development in the field of technology and modern techniques related to textile industries.

 

One of the projects was about designing and implementing automated systems for producing fancy yarns. The project was introduced by Ghadeer Hassan, Aya Shahoud, and Natalie Maroun, under the supervision of Dr. Gandhi Ahmed. The students installed a spinning ring (automated), which is capable of producing fancy yarns accurately and efficiently.

 

Another group of students presented a project entitled “Technologies for the Sewing Market”; it was prepared by Muhammad Kenan Abdullah Al-Kilani, Zahraa Mahmoud Shaker, Jamal Wissam Mahmoud, under the supervision of Dr. Walaa Al-Samara. The project aims to reduce time, effort and energy consumption for some particular production processes, also for improving sewing methods and cutting down on wasting materials and energy consumed.
