Jordanian participation in the activities of the second day of the Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Conference

The second day of the first International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education, which was organized by Damascus University and Ajloun National University in cooperation with the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation at the Association of Arab Universities, included scientific lectures, discussion sessions, workshops and discussions on the challenges and ethics of artificial intelligence.

 

Jordanian participation on the second day of the conference was prominent, as Jordanian lecturers made valuable contributions to the various conference activities.

 

Director of the Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at Damascus University, Professor Dr. Amira Al-Nour, stressed the importance of cooperation between Damascus University, Ajloun National University and the Artificial Intelligence Center at the Association of Arab Universities.

 

Al-Nour added that the Association of Arab Universities contributes significantly to supporting scientific research related to artificial intelligence, which enhances communication and integration among Arab universities and to developing research and applying artificial intelligence in various academic and societal fields.

 

Director of Business Development at the Center of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation at the Association of Arab Universities, Prof. Hassan Al-Qudah, gave a lecture entitled "The Future of Business with Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges”. The lecture dealt with how artificial intelligence affects the future of business, with a focus on the opportunities offered by this field and the challenges that companies may face.

 

Dr. Hashim Balas, a faculty member at the Faculty of Law at Ajloun University in Jordan, presented a lecture entitled "Criminal Liability of Artificial Intelligence", through which he addressed the positive and negative aspects set by the legislator to protect individuals and society from the potential harms that may result from the use of artificial intelligence,

 

 

Dr. Haneen Khawaja from Ajloun National University presented a research paper on the Blockchain Network as one of the applications of artificial intelligence technologies, explaining that this technology is used in multiple fields such as the financial, administrative and health sectors.
