Memorandum of Understanding between Damascus University and the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Surveying in Bulgaria.

Damascus University, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, signed an online memorandum of understanding with the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Surveying in Bulgaria, aiming to deepen and develop scientific cooperation and academic exchange relations between them, and to encourage student and academic exchange in the fields of engineering.

 

According to the memorandum, the two parties will cooperate in several areas, including the exchange of faculty members, researchers and students for the purposes of teaching, research and training, curricula, or program development, the development and implementation of joint programs, training programs, distance learning programs, joint supervision of master's and doctoral theses and providing post-doctoral research opportunities, in addition to organizing joint scientific events, developing cooperation projects and research programs, exchanging publications and scientific, research, technical and academic materials, and exchanging expertise in teaching methods. 

 

President of Damascus University, Prof. Muhammad Osama Al-Jaban, stressed the importance of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities and the necessity of raising the scientific and academic relations between Syrian and Bulgarian universities to a distinguished level, pointing to the importance of exchanging expertise and organizing joint scientific seminars and activities, including scientific research and exchanging external publication through journals accredited by the two universities.

 

President of the Bulgarian University, Prof. Arsh Jeska Kotova Kamenova, greeted the great Syrian people, expressing his delight at signing the memorandum, hoping that it would be the beginning of a horizon of cooperation in all fields between Syria and Bulgaria. He added: Our University has graduated a large number of Syrian students who have left a beautiful impression of their country. The relations between us have a history that the Syrian and Bulgarian peoples are proud of.

 

The signing of the memorandum was attended from the Bulgarian University by the Vice-President for External Relations, the Vice-President for Scientific and Applied Activity and Accreditation, the Dean of the
