Second Day of ‘Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education and Community Service’ Focuses on Applications in Medical Fields

On the second day, Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education and Community Service conference focused on artificial intelligence as utilized for medicine in Syria, with lectures and papers by professors from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Health Sciences.

 

Dr. Samer Mohsen, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, talked about the applications of Artificial Intelligence in the area of Audiology, noting that artificial intelligence applications in the medical field have contributed to improving medical services provided.

 

Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, Director of BioTherapeutics Research Center, at Damascus University, said that Artificial Intelligence saves time and efforts otherwise wasted for both patients and doctors.

 

Dr. Raed Abu Harb, from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University, pointed out that artificial intelligence has led to major developments impacting the accuracy of early diagnosis.

 

Dr. Anas Abdah, from the Faculty of Dentistry presented about artificial intelligence applications in the field of prosthetics.
