A collection of artwork displayed for Faculty of Fine Arts students

  To mark the Syrian Arab Student Day, the National Union of Syrian Students organised a series of events, including an exhibition of artwork, ranging from oil photography, graphics, sculpture, and interior architecture, by students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University, which was unveiled in the Reda Saeed Conference Hall. Attendees included Dr. Muhammad Turko, the vice president of Damascus University for Administrative and Student Affairs, Omar Al-Jubai, a member of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students, Qasim Al-Ali, the president of the Union's Damascus University Branch, and the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and others.

 

As Dr. Fouad Dahdouh, the Faculty's dean, pointed out, the exhibition is unique in that it features artistic creations from every department within the faculty, some of which were completed in honour of the Syrian Arab Student Day. The Faculty of Fine Arts is keen to host student exhibitions in order to foster the artistic development of the students and to promote creative awareness in society.
