Damascus University begins to pay financial rewards for external publishing to its researchers

Damascus University has begun to pay financial rewards to researchers who have been able to publish external research in well-rated scientific journals in international databases, based on the relevant decision of the University Council.

 

The first batch of rewards was distributed to two researchers from the Faculty of Medicine, six researchers from the Faculty of Dentistry, two researchers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, two researchers from the Faculty of Economy, three researchers from the Faculty of Science, two researchers from the Faculties of Civil and Architectural Engineering, for publication of scientific research in Scopus journals.

 

It is noteworthy to mention that the reward to researchers who have been able to publish in a D1 rated journal is 5 million Syrian pounds, 4 million for those rated Q1, 3 million for Q3, 2 million for and Q2, and 1 million for Q1 journals as per the relevant decision of the University Council.

 

Damascus University calls on the researchers to check with the Directorate of Scientific Research to receive their rewards.
