Damascus University Hosts the Central Ceremony for honoring Outstanding Students

Damascus University hosted the Central Ceremony for Honoring Outstanding Students 2024, which was organized by Al-Baghajati Educational Centre under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Damascus Countryside, Deputy Minister of Education, Director of the Martyrs Affairs Department, a number of deans of faculties at Damascus University and their deputies, representatives of governmental and private entities, and a large gathering of academics, students, and families.

In a statement to the media, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Mahmoud Bani Al-Marjeh, confirmed the Ministry’s endeavor to honor outstanding students, and to provide the opportunity for civil society institutions and the private sector to contribute to honoring them. He also noted that the honoring included outstanding students in secondary school certificate of all branches.
