Within the framework of its societal role and in accordance with government directives to care for students with disabilities, Damascus University pays attention and care through many distinguished educational services, student activities, events, seminars and research, with the aim of working to integrate these students into university life, and providing all the facilities and tools that help them complete their studies.

 The second day "Preserving Heritage and Identity" symposium at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Damascus University, featured scientific sessions covering various topics linking national identity and cultural heritage. The focus was on historical, legal, and social dimensions, examining the relationship between heritage and national identity from multiple angles, including arts, media, literature, and social communication.

 Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Damascus University organized a scientific symposium entitled "Preserving Heritage and Identity", in which challenges facing heritage and cultural identity, social changes, and the role of Arabic in promoting national identity were discussed.

 Topics of the first day of "Artificial Intelligence in the Humanities and Applied Sciences" workshop organized by Damascus University branch in Daraa, in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students and experts from Reach to Infinity Team, focused on artificial intelligence in education and introducing its most prominent tools in various fields, especially in the educational field.

The scientific symposium held by Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Damascus University had participants discussing issues and themes under the title of “Preserving Heritage and Identity” which highlight the value of heritage for building the national identity and promoting the values of coexistence and cultural diversity in society.

The global demand on alternative energy is on the increase to mitigate the greenhouse effect- which happens as a result of relying on traditional means of producing energy thereby leading to global warming. For decades, seismic field investigations have shown that many marine structures have been damaged or destroyed due to liquefaction- which highlights the need to obtain values of excess pore water pressure in soil as it indicates the occurrence of liquefaction, and that applies to loose sandy soil in particular.

A memorial ceremony was held at the National Center for Visual Arts at Damascus University for Dr. Buthayna Safi Ali, a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, on the occasion of the forty-day anniversary of her death. The ceremony was attended by Secretary of Baath Party’s branch in Damascus, Hossam Al-Samman, and Damascus University branch, Dr. Khaled Al-Halbouni, and President of Damascus University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, representatives of the Ministries of Higher Education and Culture, President of the Union of Fine Artists, faculty members, family of the deceased and her students, and a group of her friends.

 Faculty of Science at Damascus University, in cooperation with the Russian Cultural Center, organized an interactive online introductory lecture on fields of study at Russian universities and the academic opportunities available to students.

  A lecture organized by the Faculty of Law at Damascus University "online" in collaboration with the Russian Saratov State University, focused on academic fields of study in Russian universities and the academic opportunities available to students. It took place in the virtual courtroom of the faculty and was attended by the dean, his deputies, and representatives from the Russian Cultural Center.

  Student Empowerment and Leadership Center at Damascus University organized an introductory meeting at the Faculty of Tourism in cooperation with the branch of National Union of Syrian Students at the university, with the aim of informing faculty students about the role of the center in enhancing the skills of students and recent graduates in all training fields.
