Conclusion of the second module of the Syrian Fellowship Program for Laser Applications in Dentistry

 The Syrian Fellowship Program for Laser Applications in Dentistry completed the work of its second module at the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University with four theoretical lectures, and a practical application of laser applications on animal heads.

 

Scientific coordinator of the Fellowship Program and head of the Department of Oral Medicine at the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University, Professor Omar Hamadah, stated that the second module of the fellowship program included a presentation of clinical cases conducted at the Faculty of Dentistry as a result of the availability of all laser devices and placing them at the service of patients. This module is distinguished from its predecessor by starting laboratory training for participants on various laser devices, including the carbon dioxide laser, the indigo laser, and the diode laser.

 

Prof. Hamadah, said that his lectures during the two days of the Program focused on the management of vascular lesions within the oral fossa using four different methods of applying laser.
