Paths: An Event by Faculty of Information Engineering at Reda Saeed Hall

Faculty of Information Engineering at Damascus University, in cooperation with the Faculty’s Training and Employment Center and the National Union of Syrian Students, organized Paths Event, with the aim of strengthening communication and exchanging experiences in the field of information technology and highlighting the different professional paths for information engineers. At the event, a group of experts and specialists in this field provide diverse content which includes the latest developments, innovations and challenges facing this vital industry.

 

The event includes a diverse program that includes a group of valuable lectures, interactive sessions, and dialogue discussions, covering various fields of information technology. The lectures cover four career paths: career, entrepreneurship, self-employment and academia.

 

Vice President of Damascus University, Professor Dr. Maysaa Al- Sioufi, confirmed in her speech that the Paths Event is one of the pioneering and distinguished events. She also noted that these paths aim at linking the graduate to the labor market.

 

Deputy Dean of Faculty of Information Engineering, Dr. Ubai Sandouk, pointed out the importance of the event, which attracted the most important specialists in the field of information technology, to present their experiences to the students.

 

The event was attended by Vice President of Damascus University for Administrative and Student Affairs, Director of Professional Practice Office at Damascus University, a number of professors, and a large presence of students and recent graduates.
